Job Title EIB Trainee – Secretariat General - Institutional Representation Division – based in Sofia, Bulgaria

This position is based at our EIB office in Sofia, Bulgaria and require regular office presence. The EIB offers you the opportunity to live and work in a truly international and multi-cultural environment.

The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Secretariat General (SG) – Shareholder Relations and Institutional Matters Department (SR&IM) – Institutional Representation Division (IRD) – External Offices Unit (EO) , at its EIB office in Sofia, Bulgaria : TRAINEE

Please note that you are requested to limit your applications to a maximum of three traineeship publications. We will only consider and retain the first three applications submitted.

Objective of the traineeship

The objective of the traineeship will be to contribute to the efforts of the Sofia team in enhancing the work and visibility of the EIB Group in the country. It would involve the enrichment of our database of contacts with more advanced segregation functionalities, thus helping us expand and strengthen even further our network in the country. It would also involve a proactive approach in searching for various ways in engaging further with relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Head of Office, you will have the following responsibilities :

• Map the EIBG stakeholders.
• Work on the further elaboration and expansion of the database of contacts in order of relevance for us and our main activities.
• Suggest and initiate more ways for the office to engage in activities promoting the EIBG main goals and policies, while supporting with the organization as well.
• Help and contribute to the preparation of different documents with regard to missions, events, news briefings, etc.
• Assist and contribute to the work of the Sofia Office.

Academic qualifications and professional skills

• Final year of studies or University degree in Finance, Business Management / Administration, Economics and / or IT
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Basic data analytic skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS office tools.
• Excellent spoken English. Knowledge of Bulgarian and other EU languages would be an advantage.
