IT System Administrator (m / f / d) - full-time

PAVEAS Dental GmbH & Co KG is a nationally active dental medical wholesaler based in Koblenz.

You are a central part of our IT team and actively contribute to ensuring a stable and secure IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other departments to continuously develop the IT environment and prepare us for future requirements. The focus is particularly on current security issues.

In your new role, you will be responsible for, among other things

• Analyzing and implementing new technologies
• Support, maintenance and optimization of the Active Directory environment, including user administration, group policies and access control
• Patch management of the server (Microsoft Windows & Linux) and client infrastructure
• Management of the local network (LAN, WLAN) at the main site and two other external sites
• Setting up a monitoring system to monitor the IT infrastructure and intervene quickly in the event of problems (firewalls, switches, etc.)
• Creation and maintenance of IT documentation for the infrastructure, processes and security measures
• Supporting colleagues with IT-related questions and training on security guidelines and the use of IT systems
• License management

You will be best suited to your new role if you already have several years of experience in the administration of Windows-based systems and networks. You also have the following qualities

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
• Confident and friendly demeanor
• Strong understanding of IT security topics and their application in practice
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware) is an advantage
• Ability to work in a team, independent working style and a high level of problem-solving skills
