A global leader in kidney care is seeking a Technical Rollout Engineer for the Renal IT department in Spain. The ideal candidate will be experienced in database migration and healthcare system integration, with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar. Formación

In-Centerasone of three therapyverticalsfocuses on delivering high-quality, clinic-based hemodialysis to patients worldwide. Its mission is to support healthcare providers in offering safe, consistent, and patient-centered care in dialysis clinics.

The team collaborates across Product Design, Clinical Protocols, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial functions to equip clinics with effective, innovative solutions that meethigh standardsand improve patient outcomes. Task:

Database Migration and System Mapping:

  • Analyse, plan, and execute data migration processes between departmental healthcare systems, ensuring information integrity and consistency.
  • Design and maintain data mapping schemes to integrate information across heterogeneous platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to validate and document mappings and transformation rules.
  • Deploy solutions on-site at client locations.

Quality Assurance and Process Oversight:

  • Validate the quality of migrated data through specific testing, documentation, and cross-reviews.
  • Ensure migrations comply with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Propose improvements to migration, integration, and data maintenance processes to minimize risks and errors.

Support for System Evolution and Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with the development team to incorporate migration process feedback into new features and system upgrades.
  • Identify opportunities to improve integration and data handling processes aligned with enhancing end-user experience.
  • Provide functional insights to adapt the system to the needs of the healthcare environment.

Training and education:

Would be an asset Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering (or similar), with specialization or experience in Healthcare IT.

Professional experience:

Would be an asset minimum of 3 years in database migration, healthcare systems integration, or interoperability projects in clinical settings.

Personal Competencies:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.

Functional knowledge:

Would be an asset

  • SQL, data modelling, and transformation.
  • Experience with ETL and mapping tools (e.g., Talend, Pentaho, SSIS).
  • Basic knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or interoperability standards.

IT skills

  • Knowledge of WCF and WPF will be an asset. Knowledge of XML (and handling of XSD and XSLT) will be an asset.

Languages

  • Would be an asset High technical English level.

Special personal requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area and, when required, to other geographical areas to support the business.
