A humanitarian organization is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. This role involves driving continuous improvements in systems and processes to better support the organization's objectives. The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree, possess strong analytical skills, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within an international setting. The position offers a contract of 24 months with a starting date as soon as possible, based in Spain.

Compensation and benefits: MSF practice is to offer the C&B package current in the MSF entity establishing the contract.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural disasters. The SPINCO team (https://spinco.msf.org/) delivers a set of solutions which act as the central source of trusted product information for MSF internal processes. They ensure the quality of information within those systems, the maintenance and development of the tools, and support users in the operation of the tools. Through the delivery of these services, SPINCO acts as the driver for effective collaboration across the MSF movement in relation to product management.
The flagship SPINCO solution is UniData, MSF's central supply article database that details all items available for the field and shares information changes within the Movement. The online platforms of UniData and Unicat give oversight on articles available as resources for operations, in alignment with MSF guidelines and protocols. SPINCO also provides UniQuality & UniLocal, the MSF Medical Product Qualification databases, and MSL Medical Standard Lists, a tool which allows collaboration on managing lists of products in projects around the world. The solutions are accessible online to permitted users, and data is made available to other tools in the movement via APIs, enhancing interoperability of processes and information.
SPINCO is currently engaged in a project to review its current solution ecosystem, aiming to improve the data model, processes, and technology. The BA position is directly connected to this project, and will therefore play an integral role in the project's success.
The Business Analyst is part of the Business Strategy team in SPINCO, a part of MSF International. They report to the Business Strategy Coordinator and works closely with the Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Development team. The role is deeply related to the ongoing project to modernise the SPINCO IT ecosystem, so will have frequent contact with project team members and stakeholders.
The purpose of the Business Analyst position is to identify and support implementation of process and solution improvements for SPINCO products, services, and key partners.
