YOUR TASKS
Development of components (seat covers) taking into account quality, function, ergonomics, costs, and weight aspects in customer/development projects from prototypes to series production
Ensuring uniform procedures within Economy Class and Business Class projects at relevant interfaces
Supporting the team leader in the technological advancement of the team
Advising customers (airlines) in the responsible projects
Technical leadership of the optimization or new development of components, including the preparation of the necessary documentation and support in drawing creation in CATIA V5
Creation and editing of bill of materials in the PLM system (Siemens TeamCenter)
Carrying out the development of seat covers in collaboration with suppliers domestically and abroad
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or textile and clothing technology or textile management with in-depth experience in the area of seat upholstery (automotive/aerospace)
Knowledge in the field of upholstery construction (cutting) and industrial processing of textiles as well as in the area of trimming & finishing (e.g. automotive)
Good knowledge and experience with a CAD-3D system, preferably CATIA V5
Experience with a PLM system, ideally Siemens TeamCenter
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
High level of independence, willingness to perform, and personal responsibility in decision-making
Precise and structured working method as well as pronounced communication skills
