What You Can Expect

We are looking for an ambitious, results-oriented individual to lead our product line in the area of protein hydrolysates. In this key position, you will not only drive growth with existing brand owners but also actively explore new business opportunities. You will leverage your expertise in personal care and home care, as well as your chemical knowledge, to make a significant impact in a dynamically growing industry.

• In your new role, you will develop and manage a product strategy that aligns with market trends and customer needs, focusing on positioning, product features, and competitive advantages.
• Additionally, you will analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive environments in the personal care and home care sectors to strategically guide product development, marketing, and sales strategies.
• You will also build sustainable relationships with brand owners, understand their needs, identify growth opportunities, and promote long-term collaboration.
• Identifying and actively pursuing new business opportunities in the personal care and home care markets will also be part of your responsibilities.
• Furthermore, you will work cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that product development meets customer requirements and market needs.
• Lastly, you will advise customers and internal teams with your technical expertise in chemistry and personal care formulations, manage the entire product lifecycle of protein hydrolysates, and identify innovation potentials.
  
  

What You Offer

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in product management or product development within the personal care or cosmetics industry, with a focus on ingredients or formulations
• solid understanding of protein chemistry and its application in personal care and home care products
• excellent proficiency in English and good knowledge of German
• proven success in launching and developing high-growth products, along with strong analytical skills for interpreting market data and making strategic decisions
• willingness to travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and support product launches
