As a Senior Implementation Specialist – Travel & Spend, you’ll be the go‑to person for our SMB customers, ensuring their Travel and Spend accounts are set up efficiently, adopted quickly, and delivering value from day one, with a strong focus on German-speaking customers.

You’ll guide customers through Travel and Spend policies, configure workflows and approvals, and ensure they are fully equipped to start booking travel and managing expenses immediately after go‑live. You’ll coordinate internal teams and customer stakeholders, including finance, HR, IT, travel managers, and occasionally external consultants, keeping everyone aligned around a smooth and successful onboarding experience.

With your strong product knowledge and technical curiosity, you’ll manage integrations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver a high‑quality onboarding journey that sets customers up for long‑term success.

• Lead mid‑complexity onboarding projects for SMB Travel & Spend customers, primarily in German-speaking (DACH) regions, ensuring structured, efficient, and customer‑focused delivery.

• Drive adoption and activation by applying change management and financial understanding to help customers realise value quickly.

• Configure Travel & Spend setups, including policies, standard workflows, approval flows, and per diems.

• Coordinate stakeholders across finance, HR, IT, and travel management to ensure alignment and clarity on objectives.

• Support ERP integrations such as Spend Export File, DATEV, and Xero, troubleshooting as needed to ensure smooth operations (no engineering background required, curiosity about technology is key).

• Manage identity and HR integrations through SSO, HRIS, and SCIM, ensuring seamless technical setup.

• Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience, driving early booking and expense activity and leaving customers confident using the platform.

• German working proficiency is essential you’ll communicate with German‑speaking customers and stakeholders daily.

• Solid experience in customer‑facing roles, with hands‑on ownership of onboarding or implementation work in a structured environment.

• Experience coordinating projects or workstreams, ideally within implementation or onboarding contexts.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align internal teams and customers around shared goals.

• A solution‑oriented mindset with the adaptability to tackle challenges proactively.

• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts simultaneously.

• Exposure to consulting, finance, or technology environments.

• Experience with customer onboarding or technical implementation.

• Familiarity with Spend Management solutions or similar platforms.

• English working proficiency is required in addition to German.
