About the team

The Data and Accounting group sits within the Revenue & Finance Automation [“RFA”] pillar at Stripe. RFA streamlines critical business processes with modular billing, tax, revenue reporting, and data tools that work seamlessly together. More than 250,000 businesses use Stripe’s user-friendly revenue and finance automation platform to operate with agility, simplify compliance, and close their books faster.

What you’ll do

  • You'll manage a critical group of products and services, including:
    • Stripe Revenue Recognition: The true north for RFA is to become the system of record for revenue for fast growing businesses. Stripe Revenue Recognition streamlines accrual accounting so you can close your books quickly and accurately. Automate and configure revenue reports to simplify compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
    • Stripe Data Pipeline: Sends all your up-to-date Stripe data and reports to Snowflake or Amazon Redshift in a few clicks. Centralize your Stripe data with other business data to close your books faster and unlock richer business insights.
    • Stripe Sigma: Helps businesses quickly analyze their Stripe data and to enable teams to get faster business insights.
  • As well as Data Services:
    • Platform Integrations - focuses on building integrations that power accounting integrations and Stripe Payment, Billing workflows from within 3rd party systems like Netsuite & Salesforce.
    • UDAP API & Integrations - Unlocking multi-channel compliance for Stripe Tax with data aggregation and Stripe-owned connectors.
    • UDAP Data Management - Stripe’s User Data Acquisition Platform (UDAP) enables the import of customer-owned non-Stripe data into Stripe. UDAP provides public APIs and a no-code Stripe Dashboard UI that allows users to leverage the extensible platform to transform the external data into common formats consumed by Stripe product teams.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to partner with Stripe’s leadership to build the best merchant and developer experience across our entire RFA product suite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the long-term product vision and strategy for the team, prioritize accordingly, and create an execution roadmap.
  • Understand the needs of your customers to continuously build and iterate.
  • Hire and manage an exceptional product team, advising and guiding them as they autonomously make product decisions.
  • Mentor and coach PMs and managers to build healthy and well-executing teams.
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives as a member of Stripe’s product management leadership team.

  • You are clear and persuasive in writing and in person.
  • You’re excited to help PMs develop new skills and advance in their careers. You have a track record of leading and scaling highly productive product orgs.
  • You bring excitement for collaborating cross functionally with leadership across engineering, product, operations, and business teams.
  • You thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs.
Preferred qualifications:
  • You have managed managers for 8+ years and have experience growing PM orgs of 20+ supporting engineering orgs of 200+.
  • Experience working on building B2B solutions is a strong plus.
