Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the development and oversight of the leaders and team members accountable for sales in the markets in South and South-Western Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Fort McMurray, AB. This will include both increasing share of wallet with existing customers and acquiring new customers.
The role will be accountable for driving speed to revenue and productivity improvements and will work very closely with the other members of the GCAN leadership team to ensure that the company achieves its targets. The Director’s success is measured by profitable sales growth. This role must lead with enterprise thinking and drive collaboration with all functions.
This is a remote position based in Ontario. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
This role may require you to attend customers’ sites and adhere to safety requirements in accordance with applicable health and safety legislation, as it relates to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) on certain customer sites. This may include: a hard hat; steel-toed safety boots, clean shaven or trimmed moustache/beard in order to wear a close-fitted N95 mask or other required PPE. Details of these requirements will be provided during the recruitment process.
Some customers may have alcohol and drug screening policies for on-site contractors and vendors. You may be required to submit to such customer screening procedures as and when requested as a condition of being permitted on such sites.
