RESTAURANT ASSISTANT MANAGER
Job summary
A leading fast-food chain in Welland is seeking a team member to manage restaurant operations. Responsibilities include budget analysis, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate has a secondary education certificate and is organized, dependable, and flexible. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and offers $36.00 hourly for 30 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service role is an asset.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
Responsibilities
- Analyze budget to boost and maintain profits.
- Develop budget to determine costs of supplies.
- Plan and organize daily operations.
- Recruit, train and supervise staff.

Education
Salary : $36.00 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Responsibilities:
Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
Evaluate daily operations
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Recruit, train and supervise staff and set staff work schedules
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Cost products and services
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Required Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Required Minimum Experience: Experience An Asset
Supervision: 3-4
Work conditions and physical capabilities : Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Standing for extended periods
