Job summary
A government organization in York Region, Vaughan is seeking a caregiver who will be responsible for the well-being of children in their parents' absence. Responsibilities include housekeeping, meal preparation, and organizing activities. Applicants should possess a secondary school graduation certificate and prior experience with children is an asset. This role requires on-site work with no remote options.
Qualifications
- Experience working with infants and children is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Tend to emotional well-being of children.
- Help children with homework.
