A leading facility management provider is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician responsible for operating facilities, performing inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems. Candidates should have a high school diploma, trades training, and ideally a Power Engineer Certification. This role supports Fort Smith and Hay River locations, requiring a willingness to relocate. The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating the assigned facilities including, but not limited to mechanical other supporting systems; performing structured inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical equipment and other systems.
This is a roving opportunity supporting sites in Fort Smith and Hay River. Monthly travel to Fort Simpson is anticipated and occasional quarterly travel to Inuvik may be required as needed. Please note, this is a regular full-time opportunity. Candidates outside of the Fort Smith or Hay River regions must be willing to immediately permanently relocate upon hire.
