A leading environmental consultancy in Metro Vancouver seeks a Technical Director to guide a team in managing contaminated sites. The ideal candidate has 10-15 years of experience with a relevant degree and eligibility for professional registration in British Columbia. Responsibilities include reviewing environmental assessments, mentorship for junior staff, and client management. A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 with flexible work options is offered.
WSP has an opportunity for a Technical Director to join our Remediation Program Management team based in Vancouver, British Columbia (open to other locations within British Columbia for the right candidate). The Remediation Program Management team is a national team serving large clients across Canada. We are known for providing top quality technical work to our clients, and as a result have a strong backlog of work. Many of our clients are long term clients that seek WSP’s expertise in managing the assessment and remediation of their Sites. In this Technical Director (engineering, geoscience or other applicable background) role you would be responsible for technical direction of a large portfolio consisting of mostly downstream oil and gas Sites, with the potential to support with midstream and upstream Sites.
It is expected that you have demonstrable experience bringing complex contaminated sites to closure in British Columbia.
