Geotab is seeking a Senior Revenue Operations Business Analyst who will understand how partners and customers benefit from analysis and will develop customer-facing products from these results. If you love technology and want to join an industry leader, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Senior Revenue Operations Business Analyst, your key responsibilities include creating key data summaries for organization-wide use, designing, building, and optimizing dashboards, datasets, and reporting tools; analyzing defined and undefined data sets with various tools to address business needs and uncover insights; and driving data strategy and governance across the organization. You will work closely with Data & Analytics Teams and internal Data Engineers/subject matter experts. You will need to be a strong team player and capable of engaging with all levels of the organization, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Lead the development of key sales reports and dashboards from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Analyze large data sets to create summarized reporting sources for company-wide use.
• Leverage data sets to identify trends, develop charts, and create visual presentations to support strategic decisions.
• Interpret data with statistical tools and communicate trends, patterns, and predictions.
• Write complex SQL queries to answer intricate business questions.
• Build and optimize dashboards and reports as needed.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and data acquisition biases.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure consistent data pipelines for new and existing data.
• Process, cleanse, and verify data integrity for analysis.
• Apply data mining and modeling techniques to develop customer segmentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship within the team and across departments.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards and reporting tools.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and manage expectations.
• Serve as SME for key areas and manage related dashboard requests.
• Ensure adherence to data governance standards and promote best practices in data analysis and reporting.
• Develop training programs for new tools and methodologies to enhance capabilities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align data initiatives with business objectives and goals.
• Lead efforts to innovate and improve data processes and workflows.

• Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience may be substituted.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• 3-5 years of experience with SQL.
• 3-5 years of experience with data science tools (e.g., Python, Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience working with big data and techniques to extract value from large datasets.
• Experience collaborating with business analysts to deliver data solutions.
• Experience in SaaS and consumption-based business models is preferred.
• Experience with database design and writing queries.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts is an asset.
• Technical competence with software tools including Google Suite for business.
