Purpose of Role: The Intermediate Front-End Developer role aims to leverage your expertise in front-end technologies to create high-quality, user-friendly web applications. This involves enhancing user experience, streamlining development, ensuring Performance and collaborating effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
• Develop User-Facing Features : Create new features using React.js and Vue.js, ensuring they are functional and visually appealing
• Build Reusable Components : Develop reusable components and front-end libraries to streamline future development.
• Optimize Performance : Ensure components are optimized for maximum performance across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with back-end developers and designers to enhance usability and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in React.js, Vue.js, and TypeScript: Demonstrated expertise in modern front-end frameworks, with a deep understanding of their core principles and component-based architecture. Skilled in building scalable applications using React and Vue, and experienced in managing complex state with Redux and Vuex. Strong command of TypeScript for writing robust, type-safe code.
• RESTful APIs & Asynchronous Data Handling: Proven experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs. Adept at handling asynchronous operations using Promises, async/await, and managing data flow efficiently to ensure seamless user experiences.
• AWS Integration: Familiar with key AWS services (such as S3, CloudFront, and Cognito) and their integration into front-end applications to support scalable, secure, and performant web solutions.
• Code Quality & Collaboration: Experienced in conducting thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Committed to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in collaborative team environments.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.

Compensation: $75,000 to 115,000 CAD
