We are looking for a Portfolio Management Assistant with RBC Phillips, Hager & North Investment Counsel Inc.

As a Portfolio Management Assistant, you will work with Investment Counsellors on portfolio management work, maintain up-to-date knowledge on investment solutions, tax and financial planning issues, draft Investment Policy Statements, handle client correspondence, and prepare investment review presentations.

• Assist with the modelling, monitoring, and rebalancing of portfolios, including inputting trades when required.
• Maintain all administrative functions such as database management, mass mailings, preparation of presentation/meeting materials, correspondence, managing reports, spreadsheets, and completion of special projects.
• Proactively identify client annual reviews and compile manager review schedules.
• Ensure compliance with client mandate and portfolio models.
• Track and manage cash holdings and balances.
• Provide training/mentorship to new employees and back‑up to other positions as needed.
• Respond to various client inquiries.

• University degree in a related field.
• CFA Program candidate administered by the CFA Institute.
• Highly service‑oriented with good attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and perform business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada.
