Director, Mining Project Development & Execution
Job summary
A leading mining company in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Project Manager to lead and guide various projects aimed at supporting its growth strategies. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations, and will be responsible for project leadership, team management, and effective communication across departments. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, with significant experience in the mining sector and strong project leadership skills. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, located at the corporate office in Toronto.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in mining.
- Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.
- Proven project leadership competencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assign responsibilities to support project objectives.
- Collaborate with Technical Services and other departments.
- Participate in the allocation and development of project personnel.
- Lead project teams and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and technical reviews.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
