A leading mining company in Canada is seeking a Human Resources professional to support recruitment and ensure compliance with company policies and standards. The ideal candidate will have a College Diploma in Human Resources, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, and strong attention to detail. This position offers a 40-hour work week with a combination of teleworking and in-office presence in Rouyn-Noranda.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Superintendent – Quebec, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Create and/or edit job descriptions, create requisitions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and publish job postings both internally and externally;
Support the pre-employment verification process for salaried and hourly candidates (reference taking, criminal records verification, medical exam scheduling, English assessments;
Update all required tracking documents;
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the highest recruitment standard and philosophy;
Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and employment laws.
Support the recruitment team for all matters related to recruitment function as required.
College Diploma in Human Resources, Administration or relevant field;
Attention to detail, ability to maintain high standards, ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines;
Ability to prioritize tasks and maximize efficiencies in daily work;
Experience with Taleo is considered an asset;
Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; possibility of a 5-2-4-3 schedule. A combination of tele working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC. Occasional visits to our Quebec sites may also be required.
