A government agency supporting armed forces is seeking a Physical Exercise Specialist to lead reconditioning programs for military personnel. You will collaborate with health services practitioners to enhance the physical fitness of clients. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and current certifications, including Certified Exercise Physiologist and National Lifeguard Service. The position offers a supportive team environment and comprehensive benefits, alongside a salary ranging from CAD 58,620 to CAD 69,010 per year.

Daily, you will lead reconditioning programs for Canadian Armed Forces members who may be affected with a medical conditions and improve their functional abilities related to their physical limitations. Being a subject matter expert in your field, you will support your local team with training and professional development. You will assist Health Promotion partners promoting healthy practices and injury prevention through initiatives such as educational programs, special events and other activities related to physical fitness. Much like the military we so proudly support, we push the envelope of what’s possible. Working with us, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver programs and services in collaboration with a highly professional team of health services practitioners. Other stakeholders will be at your disposal to ensure a client’s successful return to duty.

This is an on‑site position with an assigned work location.
As part of the selection process, candidates will undergo a physical fitness test (FORCE Evaluation) and must achieve a minimum level of Bronze.
The successful candidate may be eligible for relocation benefits.
