Position: Independent Contractor - Satellite Installer
Location: Nationwide - Work anywhere in Canada

What You’ll Do:

1. Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
2. Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots
3. Run cables and connect equipment for optimal signal reception
4. Configure and program satellite receivers
5. Test and troubleshoot to ensure everything is working smoothly
6. Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
7. Educate customers on using their new satellite systems

What You Need:

1. Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment
2. Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling
3. Skilled with hand tools and network installation (Cisco routers a plus!)
4. Excellent problem-solving skills
5. Great communication abilities
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
7. Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus

2. Tools for facilitating a Starlink install
3. Ability to climb on roofs
4. Carry your own liability insurance
