Job summary
A leading AI technology firm is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst for a remote role focused on enhancing AI capabilities in private equity analysis. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in private equity and a strong skill set in financial modeling and market analysis. This contract position offers competitive compensation of $130/hour and flexible engagement of at least 10 hours weekly.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in private equity at top firms.
- Expert in financial modeling and TAM analysis.
- Experience in CIM creation and legal document processing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial models to improve AI-generated content.
- Review investment summaries for accuracy.

- Position: Private Equity Expert – Contract, Remote
- Commitment: At least 10 hours per week
- Duration: Minimum four-week engagement starting in October
- Mission: Contribute to a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab. Enhance AI capabilities in private equity analysis.
- Evaluate financial models and market sizing analyses to improve AI-generated content in private equity.
- Review investment summaries and memos to ensure alignment with industry standards and accuracy.
- Develop comprehensive due diligence processes and CIM creation methodologies for AI training.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to refine model outputs and enhance training data quality.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to AI model performance improvements.
- At least 2 years of experience in private equity at top firms
- Expertise in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, and investment summaries
- Experience in CIM creation, NDA/legal document processing, and deal sourcing
- Experience with asynchronous work and flexible scheduling
- Ability to commit to at least 10 hours per week
- Compensation: $130/hour with potential increases for top performers
- Contract Type: At-will contractor
- Payment: Weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged hours
- Location: Remote, available to U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Australia-based candidates
