Reporting to the Manager of Seniors, Western Zone, the Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses and treats patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities. The Physiotherapist is a member of the Seniors LINCS interdisciplinary team and provides service primarily in the community setting. The Physiotherapist collaborates with other members of the care team as well as patients, family and caregivers to maximize the function and independence of patients. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and the assignment of and supervision of work of Rehabilitation Assistants. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required. The PT is responsible for adhering to Nova Scotia Health policies and procedures and to the professional standards of their licensing body, the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists.

$35.86 - $45.29 Hourly
