A leading financial services firm in Toronto seeks an experienced accounting professional. The role involves leading statutory reporting, quarterly board reports, and coaching junior staff. Candidates should have over 3 years of GAAP accounting experience and a CPA. Strong skills in Microsoft Office are essential. This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $130,000 to $140,000 per year.

As a member of our team, this individual will carry out research and documentation in conjunction with a variety of non-standard transactions, adoption of new accounting standards as well as general corporate accounting matters.
The ideal candidate has strong written and oral communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to multitask in order to effectively manage his or her time across various roles and responsibilities. In this role, the individual will report to the AVP, Accounting Policy.
130,000 - $140,000 / year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
