Purpose

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients and internal teams with employee and executive compensation, including design and operation of incentive programs for private and public companies.
  • Provide tax and social security advice, perform complex calculations, and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Identify tax savings opportunities and advise clients on share plans, bonuses, pension plans, or other compensation programs.
  • Participate in analysis of deferred compensation plans from both domestic and international tax perspectives.
  • Support compensation planning during mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, implementation, and design of post‑closing incentive plans.
  • Implement, review, and optimize programs to achieve business objectives.
  • Leverage technology to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and provide data‑driven insights to drive client success.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials.
  • Master’s degree in Tax or accounting designation with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with design of compensation and equity programs is an asset.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence and employee & employer tax matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to lead teams.
  • Client facing, bringing new ideas.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism a plus.
  • Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving.
  • Canadian travel required; occasional international travel.
  • Flexibility in work schedule; overtime may be required at times.
  • French and English bilingualism required for this role.
Total Rewards

Salary range: $116,000 – $215,000. Eligible for bonus program.
