Job Summary
Lead network engineering of enterprise infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across the organization’s core and edge network.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues—including routing loops, asymmetric routing, STP, and QoS—to minimize downtime.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and other vendor equipment (ASA/ISE, WLC, Catalyst/Nexus, IOS/NX‑OS).
- Implement and maintain SD‑WAN (Silver Peak) and next‑generation firewalls (Cisco Firepower, anycast).
- Manage security protocols (IPSec SSL VPN, 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS).
- Assist with project‑related operational changes, coordinating with project teams and offshore stakeholders.
- Analyze performance data from network tools, recommend capacity‑planning and optimization actions.
- Maintain documentation related to network topology, configurations, and incident resolutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5‑8 years network engineering experience; CCNP certification required.
- Proficiency in routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and LAN switching technologies (VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel).
- Experience with Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure (preferred).
- Hands‑on knowledge of SD‑WAN (Silver Peak), firewall cloud services (Zscaler), and data‑center ACI (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate with customers and offshore teams.
- Excellent documentation, presentation, and team‑collaboration skills.
- Self‑starter, quick learner, resourceful.
- BA or BS degree.
