A local healthcare provider in Mississauga is seeking a dual trained Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant to join their interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centred clinical care under supervision and demonstrate reliable teamwork and communication skills. Key qualifications include certificates in OTA and PTA programs, recent acute care experience, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. This part-time role focuses on improving the well-being of patients through effective treatment interventions and support.
Hours of Work/Shift:1 in 3 weekends (Saturdays/Sundays); lieu days during week (Mon-Fri) as needed
As an active member of an interdisciplinary team, the dual trained Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) provides client-centred clinical care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist and performs associated functions to support the delivery of the service.
