In this role, you will:
  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
  • Contribute to the application of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Support with the recruitment of student, staff, and hourly positions; sort and categorize applications, conduct prescreens and schedule interviews.
  • Support innovative campus attraction programs both virtually and on‑campus.
  • Assist with completion of pre‑employment requirements, including reference checks and drug testing, new hire orientations & career fairs.
  • Support EVR’s employee engagement and retention strategy involving events/activities and other programs.
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively with external organizations and internal business partners.
  • Participate in a diverse number of projects that aim to strengthen EVR’s talent attraction, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve business.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License or extra‑provincial equivalent, without learner's restrictions is preferred.
  • Motivated self‑starter; able to prioritize work under pressure and show great attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
  • Experience with HR programs/software would be an asset.

$4,033 - $5,092 a month

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co‑op experiences completed.
