What will your typical day look like?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-impact motion and visual design for digital campaigns, social content, and multimedia experiences.
  • Turn creative concepts into kinetic stories that live across video, social, and interactive platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with creative directors, producers, art directors, and copywriters to bring creative visions to life.
  • Contribute to early-stage creative development, bringing motion-first thinking to campaign ideation.
  • Manage projects independently or with direction, consistently meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

About the team

Deloitte Canada’s national in-house Agency is seeking a talented Motion Graphics Artist & Designer to elevate our creative output across diverse platforms. In this role, you’ll be a strategic thinker and creative collaborator, driving innovative design solutions that bring ideas to life. You’ll lead the development and execution of dynamic motion design projects alongside traditional graphic design work. From thought leadership content and events to digital and interactive experiences, you’ll work across a variety of projects ensuring every piece aligns with our global brand standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in design, media production or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a motion graphics artist with a strong portfolio of graphic and motion design work.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro), and 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender.
  • Comfortable in post, from editing to sound design.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused professional demeanor.
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations with collaborative teams.
  • Passion for storytelling, pop culture, and the evolving creative/media landscape.

Additional Assets:

  • Copywriting or scriptwriting experience.
  • Familiarity with generative AI trends and production technologies, with a mindset to integrate innovations to enhance workflow and creativity.
  • Proven experience coordinating with external production suppliers.
  • Interest in politics, current affairs, and Canadian business.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
