Position: Senior Accountant

Join a growing family-owned Quebec business, a leader in the distribution of sustainable materials across North America.

To support the founders and with the objective of bringing the accounting and finance function in-house, I am looking for a Senior Accountant capable of managing full-cycle accounting from A to Z and implementing appropriate month‑end / year‑end processes for both Canadian and U.S. entities.

• Ensure full-cycle bookkeeping and bank reconciliations for both Canadian and U.S. entities.
• Implement and execute the complete month‑end process and build performance analytical reports.
• Manage the full payroll cycle as well as government remittances.
• Produce cash flow reports and collaborate with external firms for year‑end financial statements.
• Support management in optimizing administrative processes, recruitment, and the onboarding of new talent.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within an SME.
• Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
• Perfect bilingualism (French/English) is essential to collaborate with our North American clients and suppliers.
