A government agency in Yukon is seeking a French Language Instructor for a dynamic position focused on developing language training for its employees. As a central agency, the French Language Services Directorate (FLSD) supports, collaborates with and empowers the Government of Yukon departments and other public bodies to serve and inform the public in French. We foster strong partnerships with departments and stakeholders to improve access to government services in French. We aim at building bilingual capacities across government by providing client‑focused services such as translation, training, advice, and operational support.
Our team is seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual to develop language‑related training for Government of Yukon employees, with a focus on health and social services.
The successful candidate will primarily design online courses to help public‑facing employees connect clients with French‑language services, including beginner‑level French courses. Other duties may include conducting French proficiency evaluations, offering one‑on‑one language support, and delivering training sessions tailored to workplace needs.
