Job Description
  • Assemble aircraft landing gear components, shock struts, actuators and flight controls to supplied drawings and process instructions.
  • Identify proper and improper fits, alignments and condition of components.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and hydraulic schemes that identify and explain the function of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing.
  • Identify non‑conformances when assembling landing gear.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License would be an asset or five years related experience.
  • Ability to use hand and machine tools.
  • Self‑motivated.
  • Able to work with little or no supervision.
  • The ability to work shifts when required.
  • Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal a must.
  • Other related duties as required.
Candidate Skills & Requirements
  • Skills and Core Competencies: Ability to use hand & machine tools, strong problem solving skills, self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Education and/or Certifications: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License an asset.
  • Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of work‑related experience.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Ability to read blueprints & hydraulic schemes.
