A leading hospitality company located in Ottawa, Canada, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to drive operations and enhance guest experiences. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day restaurant functions, supervise staff, and analyze business trends to maximize profitability, all while fostering a positive work environment. Previous management experience in restaurants and a degree in Hospitality Management are essential. The position offers a competitive salary and various employee benefits.
Located in the heart of Canada's capital next door to the Parliament Buildings, the landmark Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa is looking to fill a role of Restaurant Manager.

Pay: $64,000-$66,000
Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Progressive management experience in restaurants & bars management and previous leadership experience in an equivalent role Degree/Diploma in a recognized Hotel and Restaurant Management Program an asset Must be Smart Serve certified Knowledge of the Silverware system, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent culinary/beverage knowledge along with acumen for current market trends Familiarity of general accounting principles and policies. Previous experience in a unionized environment an asset. Bilingual in both official languages is an asset. Proven ability to drive revenues and profit, without sacrificing colleague and guest experiences Excellent communication and organizational skills
