Job summary
A dental technology company in Montreal is looking for a skilled Dental Technician to design and fabricate dental devices, including crowns and bridges. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in dental technology and strong technical expertise in plastering and polishing. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive wage of $35.00 per hour with day shifts. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or have a valid work permit.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dental technology.
- Technical expertise in plastering, packing, waxing-up, polishing, and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Design dental devices.
- Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants.
- Prepare plaster models and moulds.
- Supervise 1 to 2 technical staff members.
- Train other dental technicians.
- Maintain and order supplies.
- Mould wax over dentures set-up.
- Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
- Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
- Polish and buff dentures.
