Your responsibilities:
Provide timely financial results and analytics in line with IFRS accounting standards .
Create and maintain working paper s , providing thoughtful analysis and insight on the status and trends of financial results .
O ptimize your work utilizing data tools to automate the transactional aspects of your working papers .
Analyze and interpret data for organizational procedures, policies, and workflows, s erv ing as liaison between staff and management .
Deliver monthly and annual accounting support and financial analysis to operational departments.
Provide mentorship, accounting assistance and support to junior analysts as well as other departments .
Contribute to financial reporting compliance activities by participating in internal control initiatives and financial governance projects .
Evaluate business cases and contracts to provide strategic insight s on accounting treatment, budget ary implications and financial risk.
Your experience and skills:
Have a u niversity degree in Business , with a focus on Accounting and Data Analytics .
CPA designation is required . Candidates nearing completion of the CPA designation may be considered.
At least 3-5 years of progressive financial business experience , including wor king with complex accounting transactions, navigating through change, mapping business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement .
Knowledge of accounting policies and practices (IFRS), internal controls and financial governance practices.
Experience with enhancing financial reporting through automated solutions.
Advanced Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerQuery , PowerPivot, PowerBI ) skills are essential .
Proficiency working with Workday Adaptive Planning and PeopleSoft would be considered an asset .
Solid understanding o f data management concepts .
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, plan and organize required tasks to meet deadlines.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical staff , and the ability to present analys e s in a clear and concise format .
Strong interpersonal, customer service and consulting skills .
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work through priorities and support deliverables.
Ability to learn quickly when faced with problems and ambiguity.
Strong conceptual and analytical skills , as well as creativity in identifying options and solutions .
Ability to remain composed when faced with unexpected problems and to work effectively through stressful situations.

SALARY: Grade 11 Start Rate: $ 83,185 to Job Rate : $ 97,826
