Provides educational and clinical support to dietitians related to dietetic practice within the Food and Nutrition portfolio at Fraser Health (FH) for the majority of the time; acts a clinical dietetic resource to dietitians and other healthcare professionals and collaborates with the Dietetics Education Coordinator, Faculty of Land & Food Systems at the University of British Columbia (UBC) to provide education, research and instruction to dietetic interns within FH; organizes and manages the dietetic internship program placements within FH, in accordance with established policies and procedures; conducts and performs research and research‑related functions to dietetic practice and provides research support to dietitians.
Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related discipline from a recognized educational institution, plus successful completion of an approved dietetic internship program.
Five (5) years' recent related clinical experience in general medicine/surgery/ICU in an acute care facility, including one (1) year experience in a supervisory/leadership role providing education/training to students and other health care professionals, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia and Restricted Activity A, B and C certificates.
Valid BC Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
