Location: Hybrid - Toronto. Contract Duration: 6 months. Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE. Number of Positions: 1. Schedule: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week. Reason: Urgent backfill for resource ending on May 29th.

Business group: Global Technology Control Testing – the global team for technology control testing and assurance, including regulatory obligations.

US EOL program – a strategic project related to software currency among bank applications. The team is responsible for controls assurance.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive a key strategic initiative with high visibility among senior stakeholders within one of the Top 5 Banking Institutions in Canada. They will work with and learn from diverse industry leaders globally, who have backgrounds in top technology companies.

• Oversees the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, including project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.
• Develops, tracks and manages program budget, project plans, timelines and scope.
• Manages project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising.
• Partners closely with other functional teams to define business requirements.
• Leads teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Defines test plans and ensures that products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing.
• Facilitates the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
• Prepares and presents cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensures appropriate systems development and program management processes are being utilized.
• Makes presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.

1. 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager
2. Demonstrated experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
3. Risk background and experience with a strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
4. Can manage critical deadlines and multiple deliverables, is highly organized and detail-oriented
5. Excellent communication skills with stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in changing environments and to manage competing priorities.
• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. PMP or PMI certification.

1. 1-2 rounds - 30 minutes per round.
