Base pay range: CA$94.71 – CA$115.50 per year
Hourly pay: CA$94.67 – 115.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise to support or lead closure of site‑specific Preventive Maintenance program gaps.
- Develop template recommended practices for these plans where opportunities exist.
- Assist with development of site‑specific maintenance programs for new facilities and/or major expansions.
- Generate template job plans with field technicians and work with field experts to improve these plans.
- Utilize Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) tools and processes to develop risk‑based asset management strategies for new facilities and/or major expansions.
- Provide expertise in development of Equipment Bill of Materials and identifying critical & operating spare inventory.
- Develop Maintenance Programs in alignment with Safety Critical Equipment Performance Standards.
- Support maintenance work planning, scheduling and execution improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of job aids and training materials to enhance knowledge and utilization of SAP PM Module.
- Support the development and reporting of M&R KPI’s and dashboards including the management of master data change request notifications and tasks.
Deliverables
- Standardize and optimize Equipment Maintenance Strategies.
- Standardize and optimize Maintenance Plans.
- Equipment Bill of Materials and recommended inventory levels.
- Completion of Master Data Change Requests Notifications.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Planning and/or Maintenance & Reliability in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience with scoping, planning and executing reliability improvement projects and implementing maintenance or operational integrity management system standards and processes.
- Experience in large facility operating environments, preferably upstream Thermal (SAGD) facilities, and ideally working in or directly with maintenance and operations teams.
- Strong knowledge of SAP PM module.
- Knowledge and experience with safe work practices in oil and gas production accompanied by a superior safety attitude.
- Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, field‑based maintenance & operations leadership and front‑line personnel.
- Familiarity with industry standards related to equipment reliability, safety, and risk management.
- Knowledge in failure investigation and root cause determination.
- Change management experience in managing change through large stakeholder groups.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and clean abstract.
- Education and Skills: Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician or Electrician – Nice to have. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Reliability) or a relevant Technical Diploma – Nice to have.
Additional Requirements
- As this is a safety‑sensitive role, pre‑access substance testing will be required.
- Periodic site visits are required; travel for work may be necessary.
