A leading memory care facility in Toronto is seeking a Program Assistant (Maven) to provide care and support to residents in the Memory Residence. This part-time role involves evening shifts, delivering daily care experiences, and assisting with individualized care plans. Ideal candidates must have a PSW certificate and experience working with dementia. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included.
The Terraces Memory Care has an opportunity for a
PROGRAM ASSISTANT (MAVEN)
Shift Type: Evening, alternate weekends (subject to change)
Program Assistants "Mavens" will be the primary contact for residents in the new Memory Residence at the Terrace. Centering around the Possibilities by Baycrest model, Mavens are PSW staff that use a transformational approach to support persons living in the Memory Residence. The ideal candidate will be well rounded with community, cultural, geriatric and clinical care experiences.
"Mavens" must be PSW certified but, due to the scope of the role, are classified as Program Assistants in the collective agreement.
