A leading professional services firm in Toronto is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to guide fleet electrification projects, develop specifications for vehicle systems, and collaborate with clients on operational requirements. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of experience within transit systems, and possess strong project management skills and expertise in electric vehicle technology. We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Systems Engineer with expertise in transit bus fleets, battery electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles and/or private fleet operations, and zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) transition strategies. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and lead multidisciplinary projects involving fleet transitions, electric charging infrastructure systems, fleet management technologies, telematics, and depot management solutions.
This role has a strong emphasis on developing and validating fleet specifications and data, developing fleet maintenance and performance plans, fleet pilot plans and ideally understands fleet commissioning and PDI activities for transit fleets and private fleets.
