The Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina is seeking a Clinical Instructor for our Bilingual Social Work Field Education program, within the Bilingual Bachelor of Social Work Cohort Program. This is a full‑time, 2‑year term position located in Regina.

The social work program of education, research and community service is designed to prepare students for critical generalist social work practice with diverse peoples. Informed by the principles of Indigenization, sustainability and social justice, the program encourages students to identify the needs of the disadvantaged, marginalized and oppressed. It supports students in developing the commitment, knowledge, values, attitudes, and skills required to confront structural inequalities, and to empower individuals, families, and communities to realize their full potential.

The Clinical Instructor works in close collaboration with the Associate Dean‑Undergraduate, Field Education Coordinator, Director, Finance and Administration, and the Practicum Placement Team. The Clinical Instructor is responsible for teaching and community engagement in the development, coordination, and evaluation of undergraduate bilingual field education in Saskatchewan’s Francophone communities.

• Identify French minority field placement opportunities, and ensure their ongoing capacity to provide a quality student learning experience.
• Facilitate and integrate theory and practice in French field education courses (SW 348/448) as well as other French and English core BSW courses.
• Train and support francophone agency supervisors in student supervision.
• Provide feedback, consultation, and input in the evaluation of Fransaskois practicum placements and student experiences.
• Identifier les possibilités de stages sur le terrain pour les minorités francophones et veiller à ce qu’elles continuent d’offrir une expérience d’apprentissage de qualité aux étudiants.
• Faciliter et intégrer la théorie et la pratique dans les cours de formation sur le terrain en français (SW 348/448) ainsi que dans d’autres cours de base en français et en anglais du baccalauréat en travail social.
• Former et soutenir les superviseurs des organismes francophones dans la supervision des étudiants.
• Fournir des commentaires, des conseils et des suggestions dans le cadre de l’évaluation des stages pratiques et des expériences des étudiants issus de la minorité francophone.

• Graduate social work degree (MSW).
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Field education experience at the university or college level.
• Relevant human service teaching and practice experience.
• Managerial and/or administrative experience.
• Active registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers upon hiring.
• Ability to teach using hybrid and flexible delivery formats.
• Knowledge of francophone minority communities in Canada, including immigrant and newcomer communities.
• Experience collaborating and consulting within post‑secondary education (asset).

Salary will be commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.

Faculty Instructor II; Salary Range $86,326 – $103,828 (per URFA Collective Agreement).

As required by the responsibilities of the position and defined in the expectations set out by the Dean. Duration: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028 (term, with possibility of extension or becoming permanent). Full‑time preferred.
