We280re hiring an experienced Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst to support initiatives within a leading Canadian financial institution. This role is ideal for someone with strong domain knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
- Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to define solutions
- Support end-to-end project delivery across Agile or Waterfall environments
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and data analysis
- Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect management
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and other project documentation
- Proven experience as a BA or BSA in financial services
- Strong understanding of IBOR, portfolio management, payments,
- Experience working with multi-asset classes (e.g. equities, fixed income, FX, money markets)
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Access
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and drive deliverables
- Experience with asset mix strategies, trade execution, and risk analysis
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
- Technical background or ability to liaise with development teams
