Senior Financial Analyst
Our global Manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, commercial performance, and operational insights.
This role acts as the main finance partner to commercial, operations, and supply chain teams - connecting daily performance to financial outcomes and supporting decisions that drive growth.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze monthly financial results for the division.
- Prepare detailed margin and profitability reporting at the product, customer, and channel levels.
- Track product mix, yield variances, cost-to-serve, and customer profitability.
- Develop dashboards and reporting packages highlighting key trends.
- Provide financial insights supporting pricing, trade spend, and promotional planning.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, cost allocations, and revenue recognition during month-end close.
- Reconcile key accounts including inventory, COGS, deductions, and rebates.
- Ensure accurate capture of processing and packaging costs.
- Collaborate with accounting and operations on standard costing and variance explanations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting, including assumptions around pricing, volumes, and product mix.
- Partner with commercial teams to forecast sales by customer and channel.
- Analyze processing yields, production costs, and overhead absorption for efficiency improvements.
- Evaluate ROI for promotions, new product formats, innovation projects, and capital investments.
- Build and automate reporting tools for sales, margins, and operational KPIs.
Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred or in progress).
- 5-7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
- Experience in food processing, or CPG is an asset.
- Strong financial reporting, product costing, and margin analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capability.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
