Our global manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Exports to support financial reporting, consolidation, and planning for their international export operations.

This role serves as the single finance point of contact for the Export division-ensuring accurate financial results, transparent reporting, and strong decision support for commercial, logistics, and operations teams across multiple regions.

Senior Financial Analyst - Exports Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and analyze monthly financial results for the Export division, preparing reporting on volume, gross contribution, freight, S&D, and G&A.
  • Provide variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, highlighting key performance drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and reporting packages, ensuring consistency and comparability across geographies and business units.
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, revenue recognition, cost allocations, and reconciliations of inventory and key accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and audit documentation requirements.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting, collaborating with commercial, operations, logistics, and supply chain teams on realistic assumptions.
  • Track performance against plan and provide actionable variance explanations to leadership.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting tools, consolidation processes, and dashboards; identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Act as the primary finance partner for commercial, logistics, operations, and treasury teams, supporting leadership with ad hoc analysis and decision-support materials.
Senior Financial Analyst - Exports Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred or in progress).
  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience with a strong focus on financial reporting.
  • Experience in food processing, or export operations is an asset.
  • Strong month-end close, journal entry, and reconciliation experience.
  • Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data consolidation skills.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
