Our client is a prominent Chinese infrastructure investor and operator with a growing international portfolio focused on renewable energy and energy transition assets. With strategic interests across Latin America, the firm is committed to delivering sustainable, utility-scale energy projects across key markets.

To support its expanding operations in Brazil, the firm is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to lead commercial and financial oversight across solar PV and BESS investments in the region.

As the Investment Manager, you will play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing infrastructure investments across renewable energy assets in Brazil. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of investment projects, including commercial due diligence, project financing, budgeting, and performance monitoring. Your deep understanding of solar PV and battery storage technologies, alongside strong financial acumen, will be critical to ensuring investment success.

• Manage the end-to-end investment process for renewable energy infrastructure projects, with a focus on solar PV and BESS

• Conduct commercial and financial due diligence, including modelling, risk analysis, and investment structuring

• Oversee cost management throughout the investment lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budget and profitability targets

• Collaborate with technical, legal, and operations teams during investment execution and project delivery

• Lead stakeholder engagement with local partners, regulatory bodies, and internal investment committees

• Monitor asset performance and financial KPIs post-investment, providing regular reporting to senior leadership

• Support corporate strategy development and market intelligence initiatives within the Latin American renewables market

• Proven track record of managing infrastructure or renewable energy investments, ideally within a global or cross-border context

• In-depth knowledge of solar PV and BESS technologies and related commercial models

• Strong background in cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis

• Previous experience working within or alongside Chinese infrastructure or energy investors is an advantage

• Fluent in English; Portuguese and/or Mandarin proficiency is desirable

• Based in Brazil or willing to relocate
