We have an urgent requirement for a Scrum Master with strong Banking domain experience with our client banking client in Abu Dhabi.

Strong Banking domain is a MUST; please ensure this before sharing.

CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM is required.

Experience: 6-10 years (not to exceed).

Strong Banking with Agile experience is a must.

The Scrum Master will lead the scrum teams and provide coaching to the team/organization ensuring adherence to established Agile processes and practices. The Scrum Master will be responsible for tasks covering the product development life cycle. In addition to scrum master responsibilities, the incumbent will also be required to perform tasks related to end-to-end project management and software/product release management.

The Scrum Master ensures that the Scrum process is used as intended, keeps the Development Team aligned with the Scrum framework values and principles, and ensures the team is focused on continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will:

1. Enforce daily builds to detect early issues in the compiled and aggregated code as well as in the functionality delivered.
2. Facilitate Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Product Backlog refinement, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, release planning, and other team activities as required.
3. Encourage team self-organization & empowerment.
4. Share new industry Agile best practices.
5. Facilitate Retrospectives which generate new ideas for process improvement.
6. Ensure preparation for planning through effective Product Backlog refinement sessions.
7. Actively remove impediments that slow any aspect of the Development Team's efforts.
8. Work closely with the Technical Delivery Manager, Program Manager, and Business Experts to ensure visibility and resolution of technical and business challenges.
9. Actively participate in organizational Agile activities.
10. Promote and support the Development Team's automated processes.
11. Assist the Product Owner in writing effective Product Backlog Items and maintaining the prioritized backlogs for multiple products.
12. Develop and maintain relevant metrics that guide the Development Team to more efficient processes in their work and in satisfying their Product Owner and stakeholders.
13. Identify and manage dependencies with other internal or external teams.
14. Work closely with Project Management to ensure proper project and portfolio reporting including active risk management.

1. Facilitate Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Product Backlog refinement, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, release planning, and other team activities as required.
2. Support the Product Owner in writing effective Product Backlog Items and maintaining the prioritized backlogs for multiple products.
3. Ensure planning meetings fully prepare the team for the upcoming Sprints and release.
4. Coaching teams on agile concepts and ensuring continuous improvement.
5. Track, resolve, and report incidents and known errors through the approved processes.
6. Establish proactive steps to address quality delivery issues.

Carry on project management tasks related to the scrum team or journey and for other assignments as may be assigned to the person from time to time. Ensure the project adheres to the required policies and processes. Establish collaborative relationships with a wider range of stakeholders.

The incumbent is responsible for taking ownership of software/product releases in a Banking Environment. Hence, experience of having worked in a banking environment is required.

Maintain information security related to the Bank throughout the period of employment. As soon as possible, report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk. Maintain a Risk-Free/control IT environment at the Bank.
