The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects involving data science, AI, and ML.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with technical expertise in AI and ML, to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, AI / ML engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other key partners.
- Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of AI and ML models and solutions.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data used in AI / ML projects.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and data science technologies.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Identify and address any resource constraints or bottlenecks.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP certification.
- 5+ years of experience in project management.
- Strong communication, management, and leadership skills.
- Experience in using project management tools.
- Understanding of project management approaches, such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in managing multi-specialized team members across all organizational levels.
- Ability to define priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including defining project risks and mitigating them.
