Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Manager – Projects to lead the procurement function for our manufacturing-related projects. This role will focus on sourcing materials, equipment, and services to support timely and cost-effective project delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring strong vendor management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with the ability to support operations through cost control and procurement efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Project-Based Procurement Management

• Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement activities aligned with project timelines
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to understand technical requirements
• Track material needs for each phase of execution and maintain inventory alignment

Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Identify and onboard suppliers for raw materials, equipment, and services
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery timelines
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and compliance

Tendering & Contract Execution

• Draft RFQs/RFPs and support bid evaluations
• Finalize agreements and maintain contract documentation
• Manage delivery terms and any scope changes

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Oversee inbound logistics and ensure timely material delivery
• Troubleshoot delays or quality issues
• Coordinate with warehouse/site teams to align deliveries with on-ground needs

Cost Control & Reporting

• Maintain procurement budgets across multiple projects
• Implement cost-saving initiatives
• Generate reports on spend, supplier performance, and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3–4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial procurement role
• CIPS, CSCP, or PMP certification is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and technical sourcing skills
