Supply Chain Director jobs in United Arab Emirates

Our client a leading engineering firm seeks a dynamic Vice President of Supply Chain to own and optimize end-to-end procurement and contracting processes. You will partner closely with Finance and senior leadership to align supply chain strategy with financial objectives Emiratization goals and long-term sustainability plans.

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support financial targets business objectives and Emiratization initiatives
• Collaborate with executive leadership on growth stability and sustainability projects
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with suppliers vendors and partners for reliable cost-effective sourcing
• Serve as the central liaison between Supply Chain and other business units to ensure seamless collaboration
• Lead coach and inspire a high-performing supply chain team fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Identify and mitigate risks (e.g. disruptions regulatory compliance financial impacts) across the supply chain
• Champion best practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and competitive advantage
• Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial planning for the supply chain function
• Prepare and present performance reports financial analyses and strategic recommendations to the executive team
• Ensure training and development programs equip team members with the necessary technical and behavioral skills
• Embed corporate excellence sustainability and institutional standards within all supply chain activities
• Guide annual operational planning in line with the organisation s strategic roadmap

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:

• Emirati national (only)
• Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Engineering or related discipline (Master s preferred)
• 12 years of progressive supply chain experience including 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in contracts & procurement within a large complex organisation (utilities energy or engineering sector preferred)
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and P&L oversight
• Excellent stakeholder management negotiation and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead change manage risk and deliver innovative supply-chain solutions
