Our Advisory Team is seeking a driven and highly organised Project Manager to manage the planning and delivery of strategic projects. Reporting to the Head of Advisory Strategy & Operations, this role is accountable for guiding projects from initiation through execution and successful closeout, ensuring strong performance in scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will also provide structured support during early pursuit and proposal phases to enable a smooth transition into delivery once projects are awarded.

This individual will work closely with Advisory discipline teams, internal partners, and clients to establish clear objectives, drive accountability, and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds positive and productive relationships, and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes. A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across a distributed team are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience managing proposals and/or delivering client projects in a professional services, construction, engineering, technology, or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of proposals and awarded projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and progress reporting.
  • Experience interpreting client procurement documents such as RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and contracts.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration software, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or equivalent platforms.
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills with the ability to produce and oversee high quality documentation and client deliverables.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and complex stakeholder environments.
  • PMP, CAPM, APMP, or other relevant certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
  • Familiarity with corporate governance, branding standards, and proposal compliance processes preferred.
Responsibilities
Project Management – Execution and Delivery
  • Lead awarded projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout to achieve scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Facilitate project kick-offs, define scope and deliverables, and establish responsibility matrices to ensure clear execution plans.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, change requests, and resource plans, escalating issues proactively to maintain performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication, expectation management, and relationship building throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee development and implementation of project quality plans and governance requirements to satisfy client and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive accountability and maintain momentum toward deliverables.
  • Track progress and provide regular project status reporting to internal leadership and clients.
  • Support project closeout activities including client acceptance, documentation handover, lessons learned, and performance reporting.
Project Management – Strategic Proposal Management
  • Lead and coordinate strategic proposal efforts, ensuring timelines, compliance, and stakeholder alignment that position the business to win work.
  • Conduct thorough RFP reviews to inform Go/No-Go decisions, resource requirements, and proposal management plans for strategic bids.
  • Manage the full proposal lifecycle from kick-off through submission and closeout, including content development coordination, reviews, and approval processes.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, branding standards, and quality‑control procedures across all proposal outputs.
  • Establish and manage proposal schedules, milestone tracking, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure efficient and on‑time delivery.
  • Capture lessons learned from proposal pursuits and report performance metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with Advisory Project Excellence Director to capture lessons learned from project execution to feed back into proposals.
Strategic and Operational Support
  • Contribute to business planning efforts by identifying future opportunities, market insights, and operational improvements in delivery.
  • Maintain awareness of industry standards and project management best practices, applying continuous improvement to both proposals and delivery execution.
