Our Client is a Charity Foundation and is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Procurement Manager to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and ethical acquisition of goods and services that support our charitable mission. You will leverage your procurement expertise to optimize costs and ensure our resources are maximized for positive social impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the charity's mission and budget constraints.
  • Identify and qualify potential vendors who share our commitment to social responsibility and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Manage the RFP/RFQ process for the acquisition of goods and services needed to deliver our charitable programs.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts that secure the best value for the charity, considering both cost and social impact.
  • Oversee supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and ensuring on-time delivery and quality of goods and services.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives within the procurement process while prioritizing responsible sourcing practices.
  • Analyze procurement data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure responsible and transparent use of funds.
  • Advocate for and implement sustainable procurement practices that align with the charity's environmental and social values.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a procurement management role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and motivating a team (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices, particularly within a non-profit environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical sourcing and social responsibility practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba) (a plus).
