About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced IT procurement specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process for our IT solutions and technology products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sourcing and negotiating with vendors and distributors within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure IT hardware, software licenses and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Fortinet, VMware, HPE, Kaspersky and networking equipment).
• Maintain and build relationships with vendors, suppliers and distributors in the UAE.
• Evaluate and negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with the sales and pre-sales teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and client requirements.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries and manage documentation in line with company policies.
• Stay updated with local market trends, product availability and vendor performance.
• Support the finance team in reconciling vendor invoices and handling any delivery or pricing discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with import VAT and local procurement regulations in the UAE.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Minimum 24 years of experience in IT procurement preferably within the UAE market.
• Strong understanding of technology product licensing models and vendors.
• Experience dealing with UAE-based IT distributors and suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems or platforms like Odoo (preferred).
• Excellent negotiation, communication and time management skills. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Prior experience in working with IT resellers, system integrators or MSPs in the UAE.
